ApertureData Platform Demos

We have built a set of docker images to showcase the use of the ApertureData platform on different use cases.

Demo: Hiking Activity

For this demo, we have added images, metadata, and feature vectors of a group of people that participated in a hiking activity.

This image contains an instance of the ApertureData Platform, a Jupyter Notebook, and sample populated database, and some sample queries to run, together with the Python client module and a Jupyter Notebook ready to use.

To run this demo on the system of your choice, simply run:

docker run -d -p 8888:8888 aperturedata/platform:hike

Once the docker instance is running, you can go to your browser and go to localhost:8888 to connect to the notebook. The password is: vdmstest

Demo: The Cancer Image Archive

For this demo, we have added metadata information about patients and their respective brain scans from The Cancer Image Archive Dataset.

Once the docker instance is running, you can go to your browser and go to localhost:8888 to connect to the notebook.

To run this demo on the system of your choice, simply run:

docker run -d -p 8888:8888 aperturedata/platform:tcia

After running this, a Jupyter notebook will display a token. Now you can go to your browser and connect to localhost:8888 and use the given token as a password.

Demo: Video Example

For this demo, we have some sample videos that can be inserted, and a set of queries to retrieve specific frames of them and perform operations.

Once the docker instance is running, you can go to your browser and go to localhost:8888 to connect to the notebook.

To run this demo on the system of your choice, simply run:

docker run -p 8888:8888 aperturedata/platform:videos

Once the docker instance is running, you can go to your browser and go to localhost:8888 to connect to the notebook. The password is: vdmstest
